Take your pottery skills to the next level at this workshop focused on traditional raku firing. You'll learn how to get vibrant coppers, dramatic crackles, and gain confidence with firsthand experience in raku kiln equipment and setup, firing, post firing reduction, cleaning, sealing and finishing. 

Previous pottery experience is recommended but not required.

Participants will need to bring 2-4 bisque fired pieces made of raku clay or may purchase bisque pieces the day of the workshop. Closed toe shoes and clothing made of natural fibers required.

*Raku in the rain is no fun, so workshop will be rescheduled in the case of inclement weather.
